Safety v.s. Speed...2/8/11

Cael and I were driving to work this morning when he decided that I don't drive as quickly as I should...

Cael: Mom, I like to go fast...can you go fast?
Me: I can't.  I have to drive the speed limit and I like to be safe.
Cael:  I don't want to be safe.  I want to go fast.  
Me: Sorry, this is the law.  We have to drive this fast and stay safe.
Cael:(disappointed)  Dad goes fast...he's not safe...

I'm not sure how I feel about this...I think his daddy and I need to talk=)

    I know...apparently, the two of them are out of control and I didn't even know it! I'll have to "nanny cam" all of their fast and furious adventures for future laughs=)
